Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group

Xia Chaojia is the actual controller and the chairman of the board of directors of the group of the Sichuan Hejia Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd. He holds the bachelor’s degree and the title of Senior Economist. He was successively elected Deputy to the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Xicheng District People’s Congress of Chengdu, Deputy to the 12th Chengdu Municipal People’s Congress, Deputy to the 9th Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress, Deputy to the 10th National People’s Congress, Member of the 8th Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, and Standing Committee Member of the 10th Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPPCC.

He had received honors including Top 10 Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs of the First National Selection, Distinguished Young Talent of Sichuan, National Outstanding Private Entrepreneur, Sichuan Outstanding Private Entrepreneur, Sichuan May 1st Labor Medal, Sichuan Outstanding Entrepreneur, China Guangcai Program Medal, and China Outstanding Private Sci-tech Entrepreneur. He was named 2004 Most Popular Entrepreneur, awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award for the 30th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up of Sichuan Private Economy, and selected as one of the 30 Influential Figures of 30 Years of Reform and Opening-up in Sichuan and 100 Distinguished Private Entrepreneurs of 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up in Sichuan.

He successively served as Research Fellow of the Economic Development Research Center of the China Association for Science and Technology, Member of the Standing Committee of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Executive Director of the China for Promotion of the Guangcai Program, Council Member of the China Overseas Friendship Association, Vice President of the Private Higher Education Association of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Vice Chairman of the Sichuan Federation of Industry and Commerce, Vice Chairman of the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of the Sichuan Society for Promotion of the Guangcai Program, Chairman of the Sichuan Agricultural Industrialization Association, Executive President of the Sichuan Real Estate Chamber of Commerce under the Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Vice President of the Sichuan Entrepreneurs Association.

Sichuan Hejia Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd, with Xia Chaojia, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, as its iconic leader, has undergone asset restructuring or mergers and acquisitions with a number of large state-owned enterprises over its 46-year. Through these endeavors, the Group has cultivated a team of technical and business professionals. Hailing from prestigious universities and research institutes, this team boasts advanced technical expertise, a spirit of innovation, a down-to-earth work attitude, and a commitment to craftsmanship.

The Group and its subsidiaries have seen three individuals receive national-level honors and awards; one individual granted the Special Government Allowance of the State Council; one international inventor holding overseas patents; and 15 professionals with senior technical titles. The Group has secured two Second-Class National Prizes for Progress in Science and Technology, 12 Second-Class Provincial and Municipal Prizes for Progress in Science and Technology, 19 international patents, 60 domestic invention patents, 88 utility patents, 24 computer software copyrights certified by the National Copyright Administration of China, and 45 industry-specific technical honors.
