This patent is one of a series of inventions owning original and disruptive innovation in passive shuttle-type structural intelligent control technology. The system can achieve emergency shutoff through passive control using its own energy. It serves as an emergency protection device in cases where external power sources, signals, or actuators fail during major accidents, natural disasters, information warfare, or explosive pipeline incidents in live ammunition warfare. This device can prevent uncontrolled explosions from spreading throughout the network or causing a full-line collapse, minimizing damage to the smallest branch or segment, without triggering secondary disasters such as shutting down main gates across long pipelines, stopping the entire network or shutting down an entire plant. Sichuan Hejia High-Tech Research Institute has established a research team for passive control technology, led academically by President Zeng Xiangwei. President Zeng has obtained dozens of invention patents in multiple countries, including China, the United States, Europe and through the PCT. The products developed by the institute have been applied in numerous key engineering projects. They have proactively established an international network for passive shuttle-structured intelligent control systems and their patent protection. The institute's latest U.S. invention patent, Differential Pressure Driven Burst-Pipeline Emergency Blocking System, can achieve a structurally intelligent emergency shutoff system without changing the pipeline network structure, simply by calculating and setting points at critical process control nodes and embedding protective devices. It serves as a guardian for the safe operation in important fields such as oil, gas, water, heating, hazardous chemicals, nuclear power, and aerospace.
It is reported that a report released by the World Intellectual Property Organization states that Made in China in cutting-edge fields continues to accelerate, with a large number of achievements filling international gaps and reshaping the global value chain and industrial pattern. U.S. patent applications have very strict requirements. The fact that Chinese enterprises are granted U.S. patents reflects the world's full recognition and respect for Chinese innovation.
